Cutting out bridge windows with scalpel and dremel

Just the bridge, mast and navigation lights to finish

  Fenders/tyres and hull markings added

 

Norne Hull detailing added. Although the same class of tug the Norne's hull is slightly curved whilst the Slipway Dutch Courage's is flatter.

Will be interesting to see how this addition effects the models handling in the water.

Electronics board unplugs for removal/maintenance

Arc Welder all wired up!.......... and diesel sound module installed

 

Just back from the 2013 Intermodellbau Exhibition in Messen, Dortmond, Germany, (EASYJET from Luton Airport). Absolutely amazing exhibition, way too much to see in one day!!

Bought a few nice goodies for the tug, a dingy which I've painted up as diver support, adding scratch built outboard, diver buoy and spare oxygen tanks. 

Also I found the welder figure which when wired up will simulate arc welding with an ultra bright intermittent flashing LED 

Test sailing to checkout the bow thruster, rudders and twin engines

All wired up and ready for a test sailing once I've made and connected some servo steering gear.
